Peter Obi Refutes Claims of Leaving Labour Party in 2023 Election Run

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate for the 2023 general elections, has denied rumors circulating regarding his departure from the party. In a statement released by Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), he clarified his stance and debunked the misinformation spread by unidentified online sources.

The statement, issued by Obi’s Media Aide, Michael Jude Nwolisa, emphasized the falsity of reports suggesting Obi’s intention to leave the Labour Party. Nwolisa highlighted that such claims were fabricated by individuals with malicious intent to disrupt the party’s unity and harmony.

Addressing the deceptive narratives, Nwolisa reiterated, “Our focus remains on the collective goal of rebuilding Nigeria, and any insinuations of discord within the Labour Party are unfounded. These baseless allegations are part of a larger scheme to undermine our mission of national restoration.”

Nwolisa further stressed Obi’s commitment to the nation’s progress, stating, “Peter Obi remains dedicated to advancing Nigeria’s interests beyond political affiliations, especially post the conclusive judicial ruling on the 2023 elections. Any suggestions of his departure from the Labour Party are misleading and should be disregarded.”

As Peter Obi continues his efforts towards nation-building, the clarifications provided serve to dispel misinformation and uphold the integrity of his political engagements.
