Atalanta Boss Confirms Lookman Fit for AC Milan Showdown

Atalanta’s head coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, has given the green light for Ademola Lookman to feature in the upcoming Serie A clash against AC Milan. The highly-anticipated match is set to take place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, also known as San Siro, on Sunday.

Lookman, who recently returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty with an injury, was sidelined during Atalanta’s previous 3-0 victory over Sassuolo. Gasperini, however, reassured fans by announcing that the winger has fully recovered and is ready to join the squad for the crucial encounter against Stefano Pioli’s AC Milan.

Gasperini expressed his confidence in Lookman’s fitness, stating, “His return is another reinforcement for us. He looked sharp during training yesterday, and the discomfort from his injury has significantly subsided. He is prepared to take the field tomorrow.”

With seven goals and three assists to his name this season, the 26-year-old Lookman’s comeback is expected to bolster Atalanta’s attacking prowess as they face off against a formidable AC Milan side.
