The Senate has called on the Police Service Commission to recruit a minimum of 10 candidates from each of the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria. By recruiting based on LGA parameters, the aim is to foster national unity, loyalty, and eliminate marginalization. Senator Memga stressed the significance of fair representation for all LGAs to prevent inequality in the recruitment process.
