President of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and overseas, Pastor (Dr) Henry Ojo, has called on Nigerians to remain patient with the Federal Government, assuring them that the current challenges are not unprecedented in the history of Nigeria or the world. Reflecting on the hardships faced during the military regime of Muhammadu Buhari in 1984, Pastor Ojo emphasized the resilience of the Nigerian people, stating, “Since God enabled us to survive that era, we will also overcome the current difficulties.”
Speaking to reporters following the official inauguration of the new General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and overseas, Prophet Adebayo Kolawole, Pastor Ojo highlighted the demanding nature of leadership, noting that leaders often face criticism during their tenure. He encouraged leaders to remain steadfast, focusing on God’s guidance and sincerity in their actions, as their legacy will be celebrated in due time.
Prophet Kolawole, who holds degrees in General Bible Knowledge, expressed his commitment to spreading the message of Jesus Christ globally and praying for the nation’s well-being. He prophesied that after a challenging start to the year, divine intervention would bring about positive changes in Nigeria.
Addressing the global context of current issues, Pastor Ojo pointed out the impact of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia on food production and prices worldwide. He urged Nigerians to support the government and pray for divine intervention in overcoming the challenges of insecurity and economic instability.
