Erling Haaland Praises Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund for Promising Debut Season

Manchester City’s star striker, Erling Haaland, has come to the defense of Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund, praising the young attacker for his promising performances despite a challenging debut season at the Red Devils.

Hojlund, who joined Manchester United from Atalanta for a hefty £64 million last summer, initially struggled to make an impact at his new club. However, Haaland believes that the 21-year-old has shown significant improvement over the course of the season.

In a recent interview before Manchester City’s Champions League victory over Copenhagen, Haaland spoke highly of Hojlund’s abilities, stating, “I think his start was a bit hard but then he became much better. When we played against them, I think he was really good so he’s a good player and he is young, like me. I’m not a youngster anymore but I’m still young! He has to keep on developing and as a striker for Manchester United as well, you have to score goals as well so that is his job.”

Despite facing criticism for his slow start, Hojlund managed to break his goal-scoring drought on Boxing Day in the Premier League. With Haaland’s endorsement and encouragement, it is clear that the young Danish international has the potential to thrive at Manchester United and continue to grow as a player.

As fans eagerly await the next chapter of Hojlund’s career, it is evident that he has the support and respect of one of the game’s brightest talents in Erling Haaland. With hard work and dedication, there is no doubt that Hojlund can fulfill his potential and make a lasting impact at Manchester United.
