February’s Top Nigeria Premier Football League Coaches Shortlisted for Award

Four top managers have been nominated for the prestigious Nigeria Premier Football League Coach of the Month award for their outstanding performance in February. The nominees include Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers, Mangut Mbwas of Plateau United, Meremu Okara of Bayelsa United, and Paul Offor of Sporting Lagos.

Offor, the mastermind behind Sporting Lagos, led his team to three victories and only one defeat in February. His strategic prowess helped the team climb out of the relegation zone, turning their season around after a shaky start.

Mbwas, on the other hand, guided Plateau United to an impressive unbeaten streak in February, with two wins and a draw. His team’s attacking prowess was on full display, netting seven goals throughout the month.

Okara’s leadership at Bayelsa United saw the team secure three consecutive wins, propelling them out of the drop zone and into a position of strength. The team’s resurgence under his guidance has been nothing short of remarkable.

In contrast, Ogunmodede’s Remo Stars struggled in February, only managing to secure a single point from two games. Despite the challenges faced, Ogunmodede’s tactical acumen will surely be put to the test in the coming months.

The winner of the Coach of the Month award for February will be announced next week, with all eyes on these talented managers who have shown exceptional skill and dedication on the field. Stay tuned for the exciting reveal!
