Plateau SUBEB Clears Outstanding Salaries of Primary School Teachers

The Plateau Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has announced a significant achievement in clearing all outstanding salaries of primary school teachers in the state. This development, as highlighted by Mr. Richard Jonah, the Head of Public Relations of the board, reflects Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s dedication to prioritizing the welfare of all workers in Plateau State.

In a statement released in Jos, Jonah emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting the hardworking educators who play a vital role in shaping the future of the children in public primary schools. He proudly declared that no local government in the state is currently behind on salary payments to teachers, marking a crucial milestone in ensuring the financial well-being of these essential members of the community.

Furthermore, Jonah urged all teachers in the state to recommit themselves to their noble profession and strive towards helping students catch up on any lost educational opportunities resulting from recent disruptions. He also reiterated the government’s pledge to deliver quality education by addressing the needs of teachers and enhancing the overall learning environment.

However, Jonah issued a stern warning to any teacher found engaging in misconduct or working against the government’s educational objectives. He emphasized that such individuals would face appropriate consequences for their actions, underscoring the importance of upholding the vision of the current administration in Plateau State.

The SUBEB’s successful resolution of salary issues for primary school teachers not only demonstrates a tangible commitment to supporting educators but also underscores the government’s broader goal of ensuring quality education for all students in the state. By prioritizing the welfare of teachers and holding them accountable for their responsibilities, Plateau State is taking significant strides towards fostering a conducive learning environment and empowering the next generation of leaders.
