President Tinubu to Commission Remodelled Minna Airport as Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport

The Niger State government has announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be visiting the state to commission the newly renovated Minna Airport, now known as the ‘Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport’. The State’s Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Binta Mamman, shared this exciting news with journalists at the Government House in Minna. In addition to the airport commissioning, President Tinubu will also lay the foundation stone for a new Hajj Terminal at the airport during his one-day visit.

Furthermore, the President is set to inaugurate agro mechanised implements and tractors as part of the state’s agricultural revolution. Hajiya Binta expressed the state government and the people’s eagerness to welcome President Tinubu for the commissioning of these significant projects.

Alhaji Mohammed Nma Kolo, the Special Adviser (Political) to the state governor, highlighted the political significance of President Tinubu’s visit. He emphasized the positive impact it will have on Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s administration, showcasing the support and progress made within nine months of his leadership. The anticipation and excitement are palpable as the state prepares to receive their President with open arms.
