Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, is already looking ahead to the upcoming match against Kano Pillars after a disappointing goalless draw with Kwara United in Enugu over the weekend. The seven-time champions will be heading to the Sani Abacha Stadium for their matchday 25 clash on Wednesday.
In a post-match interview, Ilechukwu expressed his disappointment with the team’s performance, stating, “It was not a good performance from us because it was a game we prepared very well for. We thought that we were going to get all three points, but in football, so many things happen, and we just had a bad day in the match, especially in the first half. It was an unfortunate experience for us. This result is a temporary setback.”
Despite dropping to fourth place on the table, Ilechukwu remains optimistic about their next game against Kano Pillars, saying, “We hope to get something good when we play Kano Pillars in our next game.”
Stay tuned as Rangers look to bounce back and secure a positive result in their upcoming fixture.
