Troops from the Joint Task Force Operation Hadarin Daji, OPHD, have carried out a daring rescue mission in Zamfara, freeing five women and two babies who had been held captive for two months. The victims, kidnapped from Marange village in Niger State, endured months of captivity before being liberated by the vigilant troops in the Kuyambana area.
The successful operation was the result of relentless pressure on the bandits by the troops, leading to the victims’ escape from the terrorists’ enclaves. Lt. The rescued individuals underwent debriefing sessions and were promptly handed over to the relevant authorities for the necessary procedures to reunite them with their families. Maj. Gen.
