The Kaduna State Police Command has made a significant arrest in connection with a kidnapping case, as reported by ASP Mansir Hassan, the Command’s spokesperson. A 35-year-old man, whose identity has been withheld, was apprehended at his residence in Ganga Uku village, Mararaban Jos, on Feb. 29.
During the raid, the police recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, including a fabricated cartridge revolver rifle, a fabricated pistol, two Dane guns, live cartridges, discharge ammunition, and a blood-stained cutlass. These findings point to the seriousness of the alleged crime and the potential danger posed by the suspect.
The arrest was made in connection with the kidnapping of Samaila Abdullahi, 40, who was forcefully taken from the Keke Kingdom area of Mararaban Jos on Feb. 13. The victim’s whereabouts remain unknown, as the suspect reportedly collaborated with others who are currently at large.
