Nnamdi Kanu Vows Peace in Southeast if Released from DSS Custody

The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has made a strong statement distancing himself from the violence that has been plaguing the southeastern part of Nigeria. Despite being denied bail, Kanu emphasized that those responsible for the violence, under the guise of being IPOB members, will face consequences.

Speaking in Abuja, Kanu pointed out that the ongoing violence is a direct result of his detention by the Department of State Services. He firmly stated that if he were to be released, peace would prevail in the entire South-East region. Kanu made it clear that anyone involved in criminal activities in the name of IPOB will not escape justice.

Expressing frustration with the situation, Kanu called out individuals in government whom he suspects of being complicit in the insecurity issues. He asserted that his presence outside of custody would swiftly put an end to the chaos, highlighting his influence and authority within the region.

The promise of restoring peace in the East resonates strongly in Kanu’s words, as he asserts his determination to bring stability and order to the troubled region. His unwavering stance against violence and criminal activities showcases his commitment to upholding the values of the IPOB movement.

As the situation unfolds, Kanu’s message serves as a beacon of hope for a peaceful resolution in the midst of turmoil. His words carry weight and authority, signaling a potential shift towards harmony and unity in the South-East.
