Super Eagles Injury Update: Osimhen, Awoniyi, Ebuehi, and Osho Out of Friendlies

The Super Eagles have unfortunately been hit with some bad news ahead of their upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali. Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Tyronne Ebuehi, and Gabriel Osho have all been ruled out of the matches due to injuries.

Despite this setback, the team is already gearing up for the games, with 12 players currently at the team’s Adam Park Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco. Among those in camp are goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Olorunleke Ojo, defenders Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, Jamilu Collins, Bruno Onyemaechi, and Benjamin Tanimo.

The midfield is looking strong with the likes of Alex Iwobi, Raphael Onyedika, and Alhassan Yusuf present, while the attacking line-up includes Moses Simon, Nathan Tella, Cyriel Dessers, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Sadiq Umar, and Ademola Lookman.

The team is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Turkey-based defender Bright Osayi-Samuel, who is expected to join the camp on Wednesday.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Super Eagles as they prepare to take on their opponents in what promises to be an exciting set of friendlies.
