In an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily program, Ejiofor expressed concerns over the deployment of high-ranking military officials to settle a land dispute.

Ejiofor emphasized the need for a thorough and unbiased inquiry, suggesting that important individuals may be implicated in the incident. He urged both the Federal and State governments to establish a high-powered investigative panel to uncover the truth behind the deployment of the military personnel, including the Commanding Officer of the 181 Amphibious Battalion.
