Addressing claims made by Senator Abdul Ningi regarding a discrepancy in the budget implementation, Tinubu defended the arithmetic of the budget he presented and commended the Senate for their swift handling of the budget process. He expressed confidence in overcoming economic challenges and improving revenue, urging better financial management for a brighter future.

Tinubu also condemned the killing of soldiers in Delta State, promising justice for the perpetrators and affirming unwavering support for the military in safeguarding national security.
