Reno Omokri Calls for Probe of Buhari’s Administration: Tinubu Should Take Action

Reno Omokri, a prominent sociopolitical analyst, recently made a thought-provoking suggestion regarding the leadership of former Nigerian President Bola Tinubu. In a bold statement, Omokri proposed that Tinubu should have conducted a thorough investigation into the actions of his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a post on social media, Omokri criticized Buhari’s administration, labeling it as the worst in Nigeria’s history. In contrast, he praised the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan as one of the best the country has ever seen. Omokri highlighted Jonathan’s success in combating the terrorist group Boko Haram, a feat that was not maintained during Buhari’s tenure.

Omokri emphasized the importance of conscience-driven leadership, contrasting it with what he described as an ego-led approach under Buhari. He pointed out the deteriorating security situation in Northern Nigeria during Buhari’s presidency, citing incidents of violence and terrorism that plagued the region.

Furthermore, Omokri criticized Buhari for his handling of the economy, stating that the country experienced a significant decline in GDP during his time in office. He accused Buhari and his inner circle of enriching themselves at the expense of the Nigerian people, leading to widespread poverty and economic hardship.

In light of these criticisms, Omokri called on Tinubu to hold Buhari accountable for his actions and investigate the alleged corruption within his administration. He suggested that focusing solely on individuals like Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, was not enough, and that the true perpetrators of wrongdoing should be brought to justice.

As Nigerians reflect on the legacy of past leaders, Omokri’s words serve as a reminder of the importance of holding those in power accountable for their actions. With a clear call for transparency and justice, Omokri’s message resonates with those who seek a brighter future for Nigeria.
