The Falconets, led by Chris Danjuma, took the lead in the first half with a goal from Loveth Edeh, but the Black Princesses fought back to secure a 2-1 victory.
Gusau commended the team for their skills and teamwork throughout the competition, acknowledging that they gave their best but fell short of retaining their title. He encouraged them to shift their focus to the upcoming FIFA World Cup finals later this year, emphasizing the importance of aiming to win the trophy for the first time.
