PDP Sets Up Special Committee for Ondo Governorship Primary Screening

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is gearing up for the governorship primary election in Ondo State, with the National Working Committee (NWC) taking charge of the screening process for aspirants.

In a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba, it was announced that the screening will be held at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja next Wednesday. Aspirants, stakeholders, leaders, and party members are urged to mark their calendars and prepare accordingly.

Leading the screening committee is former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Sam Egwu, with Chief Rahman Owokoniran, the PDP Zonal Secretary for the South West, serving as the secretary. The committee also includes three female members: Mrs Olivia Dazyman, Ambassador Gladys Ashemuke, and Ms Caroline Akinsete, who will be the Administrative Secretary.

Joining them are Senator Isa Shuaibu Lau, Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, and Mr Tanko Beji, rounding out the team responsible for vetting the governorship aspirants. Stay tuned for updates as the PDP moves forward in the selection process for Ondo State’s next leader.
