Ebonyi bye election APGA raises alarm over alleged plot to attack

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has strongly criticized Labour Party chieftain, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, for his negative assessment of Governor Charles Soludo’s performance in Anambra State over the past two years. Ozigbo, in a recent interview with journalists, expressed his disappointment with Soludo’s governance and announced his intention to run for governor in 2025.

APGA has dismissed Ozigbo’s remarks as a ploy to garner donations for his campaign, accusing him of lacking substance in his criticism. The party’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ejimofor Opara, pointed out that Ozigbo failed to provide any concrete alternatives to Soludo’s initiatives, such as the development projects in Okpoko and Ekwulobia, as well as the road infrastructure improvements.

Regarding Ozigbo’s pledge to serve only one term if elected, Opara questioned the sincerity of such a promise and emphasized that Anambra residents recognize Soludo’s positive impact on the state. He also criticized Ozigbo for being overly reliant on former Governor Peter Obi and urged him to focus on his own political path.

In conclusion, Opara dismissed Ozigbo’s criticisms as baseless and urged him to refrain from distracting Soludo, who is dedicated to fulfilling his mandate as governor. The statement underscored the belief that Ozigbo’s political career is overshadowed by his association with Peter Obi and suggested that he should focus on his own aspirations rather than seeking attention through unfounded criticisms.
