President Tinubu Presides Over FEC Meeting with Key Officials Present

President Bola Tinubu is currently leading the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja. In attendance are Vice President Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, and Chief of Staff to the President Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

However, National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and Minister of Police Affairs Ibrahim Geidam are notably absent from the meeting. It is worth noting that during the previous council meeting two weeks ago, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris revealed that President Tinubu had made a commitment to rescue all recent kidnap victims without paying ransom.
