EFCC Recovers N7.8 Million from Corrupt BIPC Officers

The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC) recently made headlines as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) successfully recovered N7.8 million belonging to the company. This significant development was disclosed by Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BIPC, in Makurdi.

According to Mr. Asemakaha, the recovered funds were traced back to past officers of the company who were involved in corrupt practices. The draft cheque of the money has been handed over to the company, with more recoveries expected in the future.
