Benue State Governor Denies Calling for APC Chairman’s Resignation

Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has clarified that he never called for the resignation of All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje. In a press statement released on Wednesday in Makurdi by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Tersoo Kula, the governor debunked media reports suggesting otherwise.

Contrary to the rumors, Governor Alia maintains a strong relationship with the leadership of the APC, led by Ganduje. Kula emphasized that the governor has never participated in any discussions or meetings aimed at removing or calling for the resignation of Ganduje.

“Governor Alia stands firmly in support of the National Working Committee of the APC, under the leadership of Alhaji Ganduje. He has neither publicly nor privately advocated for the resignation of the National party chairman,” Kula stated.

The focus of Governor Alia remains on the development and progress of Benue State. As the leader of the APC in the state, he is dedicated to repositioning the party for future successes and victories.

It is important to set the record straight and clarify any misconceptions surrounding Governor Alia’s stance on the leadership of the APC. His commitment to the party and the people of Benue State remains unwavering.
