Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State in northern Nigeria has declared that his state is among the least developed in the region. Speaking during a Ramadan fast-breaking event in Makurdi, the governor expressed his determination to change this reality by implementing various developmental projects that will elevate Benue to a position of pride among all states in the country.
