The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured that President Bola Tinubu will support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate on April 20. The party chairman, Ade Adetimehin, dismissed concerns of a potential crisis following the primaries, emphasizing the party’s stability and confidence in securing victory in the upcoming governorship polls.

During a meeting with aspirants at the APC secretariat in Akure, Adetimehin highlighted the party’s commitment to a fair and transparent selection process. He urged aspirants to maintain decorum in their statements to prevent political tensions.

“The State Working Committee and the State Executive Committee, under my leadership, will ensure a level playing field for a free, fair, and credible primary election,” Adetimehin stated. “We will uphold due process and adhere to all party guidelines to allow members to choose the best candidate.”
