Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe, has made a strategic decision to rotate his squad during the Benue State Federation Cup in order to enhance the fitness levels of his players. The Pride of Benue emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Flight FC in the final of the tournament.
Agagbe is confident that this rotation will give his team an edge as they continue their pursuit of the Nigeria Premier Football League title. Lobi Stars are gearing up to face Sporting Lagos in a crucial matchday 28 fixture on Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan.
Speaking to the club’s media, Agagbe explained, “The players’ rotation during the state Federation Cup was a strategic move to give other team members a chance to showcase their skills and improve their overall fitness levels, which will be beneficial as we return to league action.”
Currently occupying the second spot on the NPFL table, Lobi Stars are determined to maintain their momentum and secure a strong finish in the league. Stay tuned for more updates on their journey to success.
