On March 17th, 2024, The African Music Library and lawyer and historian Nze Ed Emeka Keazor came together to host the official Lagos premiere of Nze Keazor’s film ‘Ki’mon’.
The film, titled ‘The Eastern Nigerian Afro-Funk Revolution 1970-1980. Ki’mon!’, aims to provide a deep insight into the Eastern Afro-Funk movement. It showcases stories from the pioneers of the movement, as well as insights from radio presenters, historians, music critics, and more who have documented this cultural phenomenon.
