Bobrisky Pleads Guilty to Naira Abuse and Money Laundering Charges

Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, made headlines on Friday as he pleaded guilty to charges of abuse of the naira and money laundering at a Lagos court. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) brought forth a four-count charge against the self-proclaimed transgender, who was arrested in Lagos for allegedly mishandling naira notes.

Reports from Media Talk Africa revealed that Bobrisky was apprehended for spraying and damaging currency notes at an event. Initially facing a six-count charge, two charges were dropped after discussions between the parties involved.
