Former President Goodluck Jonathan met with the new Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Denis Otuaro, on Friday. During their meeting, Jonathan emphasized the importance of expanding education scholarships in the Niger Delta region through the Programme. He also urged Otuaro to bring the programme back to the region to increase awareness of the Federal Government’s impact.

In response, Otuaro expressed his gratitude for Jonathan’s guidance and pledged to uphold the original mission of the PAP to promote peace and development in the Niger Delta. He highlighted the program’s focus on education, women empowerment, and peace-building, aligning with Jonathan’s vision for the region.

Otuaro acknowledged Jonathan’s significant contributions to peace and development in not only the Niger Delta but the entire country. He assured that under his leadership, the PAP would continue to prioritize initiatives that promote stability and economic growth in the region.
