The All Progressives Congress (APC) is determined to emerge victorious in the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo and Ondo states. Nze Chidi Duru, the APC Deputy National Organising Secretary, made this commitment during a gathering at the party’s National secretariat in Abuja.

Duru reassured the 16 candidates vying for the APC ticket in the Ondo state governorship election scheduled for November 16, 2024, that they can expect a fair, transparent, and open primary election on April 20.

“Edo has become a litmus test for us. The party is steadfast in ensuring a free and fair process to select our candidate,” Duru stated confidently. He highlighted the successful resolution of internal conflicts within the party, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration.

With a united front and a strong team in place, Duru expressed optimism about the APC’s prospects in both Edo and Ondo states. He firmly believes that the party’s victory in Edo will pave the way for success in Ondo as well.
