Ondo PDP Prepares for Governorship Primaries with Ad Hoc Delegate Election

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State is gearing up for the upcoming governorship primaries on April 25. In a bid to ensure a fair and transparent process, the party has announced plans to elect ad hoc delegates from the 203 wards in the state.

Scheduled for April 8, 2024, the delegates will play a crucial role in selecting the party’s standard-bearer for the forthcoming governorship election on November 16, 2024. Leading the seven-man electoral committee overseeing the process is Senator Abba Moro.

Among the PDP aspirants vying for the party’s ticket are Bamidele Akingboye, Sola Ebiseeni, Agboola Ajayi, Adeolu Akinwunmi, John Ola Mafo, Bosun Arebuwa, and Kolade Akinjo.
