Super Falcons Arrive in South Africa for Olympic Qualifier Against Banyana Banyana

The Nigerian women’s national football team, known as the Super Falcons, have touched down in South Africa for the crucial second leg of their 2024 Olympic Games qualifying match against the South African team, Banyana Banyana.

Led by coach Randy Waldrum, the Super Falcons arrived in Lagos before boarding a flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. They are set to make their way to Pretoria, where they will face off against Banyana Banyana at the iconic Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 pm Nigeria time, with the Super Falcons holding a slim 1-0 lead from the first leg. The stakes are high as both teams vie for a spot in the upcoming Olympic Games.
