The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially confirmed Hon Husseini Ejinni and Hon Isah Alhassan as the chairmen of Dekina and Ofu Local Government Areas, respectively. This decision was made following a thorough investigation into the contested chairmanship positions.

In affirmation letters sent separately to the chairmen by the Chairman of the Kogi State PDP Caretakers Committee, Sen Danjuma La’ah, it was stated that the affirmation for Dekina and appointment for Ofu were based on principles of equity, fairness, and justice. The party emphasized the importance of unity and progress within its ranks.

The caretaker chairman urged party members to remain calm and warned against any form of impersonation by individuals claiming to be party officials. The party is committed to upholding integrity and ensuring that all decisions are made in the best interest of the party as a whole.

This development underscores the commitment of the Kogi State PDP to transparency and accountability in its leadership structure. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding democratic values within political organizations.
