A tragic loss has struck the family of former Kogi State governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, as his son, Muhammed, passed away this morning after Eid prayers in Abuja. The news of his sudden death has left his elder brother, Abubakar Idris, devastated.

Muhammed, who served as a member of the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011, reportedly collapsed at his residence in Abuja. Abubakar confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating, “He died shortly after returning from Eid prayers. He will be laid to rest at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja.”
