NCC Draft Regulatory Instruments: Shaping Nigeria’s Telecom Future Through Collaboration

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has taken a significant step towards shaping the future of telecommunications in Nigeria. In accordance with the Nigerian Communications Act 2003, the NCC has released a series of draft regulatory instruments on its official website, inviting stakeholders to participate in the process of refining these regulations.

Dr. Reuben Muoka, the Director of Public Affairs at the NCC, has unveiled these draft regulations, emphasizing the importance of stakeholder engagement in creating a more innovative and inclusive telecommunications landscape. The NCC is calling upon industry leaders, consumers, and the general public to contribute their insights and ideas to this collaborative effort.

Scheduled meetings on May 21 and May 22, 2024, at the NCC Head Office in Abuja, offer a platform for stakeholders to share their perspectives and help shape the future of the telecom industry in Nigeria. The deadline for submissions is May 10, 2024, and all contributions are encouraged and welcomed.
