Borussia Dortmund is eagerly anticipating a rematch with Paris St Germain in the Champions League semi-finals after a thrilling victory over Atletico Madrid. The German side managed to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg to secure a 5-4 aggregate win.

Dortmund’s coach, Edin Terzic, believes his team is now better prepared to face the French champions, having previously lost away and drawn at home in the group stage. “Our first game against them wasn’t good. In the second game, we adjusted better and were closer to victory,” Terzic stated.

Midfielder Julian Brandt, who scored in the first half for Dortmund, expressed his disbelief at their progression to the semi-finals after a rollercoaster game. “It was a crazy game for the fans and for us. A great game for us, for our fans, and for all football fans around the world,” Brandt said.

Striker Niclas Fuellkrug, also on the scoresheet, shared his pride in reaching the Champions League semi-finals for the first time. “I’ve never played at this level before and I’m very proud to be in the semi-finals with my team,” Fuellkrug remarked.

The upcoming clash with PSG promises to be a challenging one, with both players determined to perform better than in the group stage. “It’s going to be very serious now against Paris. We want to do better and reach the final,” Brandt added.

As the excitement builds for the semi-finals, international football fans are eagerly anticipating the showdown between Borussia Dortmund and Paris St Germain. Stay tuned for more updates on this thrilling Champions League journey.
