Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara Gains Support for Peaceful Leadership

Former member of the House of Representatives from Rivers State, Ogbonna Nwuke, has highlighted the growing support for the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara, citing his peaceful demeanor as a key factor. Nwuke, who previously represented the Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, shared his insights during a recent gathering in Port Harcourt.

In his address, Nwuke emphasized that the individuals and political groups rallying behind Fubara are driven by a common desire for stability, progress, and harmony within Rivers State. He underscored the importance of unity in governance, stating that a state cannot thrive under the leadership of multiple governors.

“We are united in our quest for stability, progress, and peace in Rivers State. It is imperative that we have a singular vision and leadership to move our state forward. Division only hinders our collective growth and development,” Nwuke remarked.

He also acknowledged the role of external influences in the political landscape, noting, “If one’s interests align with those in Abuja, it is understandable to collaborate. However, our primary focus should always be the well-being of Rivers State and its people.”

As support for Governor Fubara continues to gain momentum, Nwuke’s remarks serve as a testament to the growing consensus on the importance of unity and cooperation in advancing the state’s interests. The call for peace and progress resonates strongly among diverse stakeholders, signaling a shared commitment to a brighter future for Rivers State.
