The All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a bold step by petitioning the National Judicial Council (NJC) to review a court order issued by Justice Usman Na’abba of the Kano State High Court. The order had directed the national chairman of the party, Abdulahi Ganduje, to cease acting in his capacity as chairman.

In a petition dated April 17 and signed by Mahmud Ganduje, the Chairman of Ganduje’s ward, along with 26 others, the APC raised concerns about the judicial process and its impact on political party affairs. The petition highlighted the need for adherence to judicial guidelines and the Nigerian Constitution, emphasizing the importance of non-interference in party matters.

The petition specifically addressed the actions of Justice Usman Mallam Na‘abba, questioning the basis for his decision to suspend Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from the APC and restrict his role as National Chairman.
