Sporting Lagos sacks coach over poor performance

Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side Sporting Lagos has sacked its coach Paul Offor over poor perf performance in the ongoing football season.

This was disclosed by a statement on their official X page. 

The statement reads: “ Sporting Lagos announces the departure of Head Coach Paul Offor. 

“Coach Paul brought top-flight football back to our city and gave us the first piece of silverware in our history. 

“Thank you for everything, Coach Paul. We wish you the very best in your future endeavours.“ 

Coach Paul is expected to leave with his assistant coaches, Coach Micah Bello and Coach Edward Green. 

The team will hope to focus on remaining in the top flight with the final eight matches left in the season and get maximum points.
