Yoruba World Congress Urges Security Agencies to Uncover Oyo State Secretariat Attack Sponsors

Yoruba World Congress Worldwide (YWC) has called on security agencies to uncover the backers behind the recent attack on the Oyo state government secretariat. The group’s demand was conveyed in a statement released by its Secretary General, Engineer Stephen Ajayi.

In a brazen move last Saturday, individuals claiming to be Yoruba nation agitators stormed the Oyo state Secretariat with the intention of seizing control of the House of Assembly. YWC swiftly responded by urging law enforcement to identify and apprehend those responsible for orchestrating the assault.

Emphasizing the importance of holding the sponsors accountable, YWC stressed the need for swift action to deter future acts of violence. The group firmly disavowed any association with such violent and treasonous behavior, asserting its commitment to upholding peace and order in Yoruba land and Nigeria as a whole.

In a public declaration, YWC, UK, denounced the actions of the individuals involved in the attack, labeling their behavior as barbaric and misguided. The organization reiterated its stance against violence and called for the immediate investigation and prosecution of the instigators.

As the call for justice reverberates, Yoruba World Congress Worldwide (YWC) stands firm in its commitment to promoting peace and unity within the Yoruba community and beyond. The message is clear: those who seek to disrupt the harmony of the region will be held accountable for their actions.
