Golden Eaglets Drawn in Group B for WAFU Zone B U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers

The Nigerian U-17 national team, known as the Golden Eaglets, have been placed in Group B for the upcoming WAFU Zone B U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Led by coach Manu Garba, the team will be facing tough competition from Burkina Faso, Niger, and Togo in their group.

Meanwhile, hosts Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Benin will be battling it out in Group A. The Golden Eaglets have wasted no time in getting ready for the tournament, starting their preparations in Abuja on Thursday.

Nigeria has a strong track record in the competition, having emerged as champions two years ago in Cape Coast, Ghana. The team will be looking to replicate their success and bring home another title when the tournament kicks off in Accra from 15th to 28th May.
