Phyna, the winner of season 7 of BBNaija in 2022, has been facing challenges in claiming the prizes she won from the show’s sponsors. In a recent post on her Twitter account, she expressed frustration over the difficulties she has encountered in redeeming the promised prizes and questioned why Nigerians have remained silent on the issue.

She called on citizens to take action and fight for justice for those who are oppressed, emphasizing the importance of standing up for the rights of individuals while they are still alive. Phyna highlighted the lack of support she has received from a major organization in fulfilling their promises to her since 2022, urging Nigerians to speak out against the injustice she has faced.

In a meeting with the show organizers, MultiChoice, Phyna rejected new offers from BBNaija sponsors, including Travelbeta and Quidax Global. Despite offers for a trip for two to Morocco or Kenya and 1 BTC valued at N13 million, Phyna and her legal representatives declined the proposals due to concerns about potential repercussions from MultiChoice’s negligence.

The acting president of PCCSIGN, Michael Obinna Nwabufo, revealed that Seven-Up Bottling Company and Unik Soap have agreed to provide Phyna with a year’s supply of Pepsi and soap products, respectively. However, Phyna’s decision to reject certain offers has sparked controversy and drawn attention to the issue of prize redemption for BBNaija winners.

PCCSIGN has intervened in the matter, expressing dissatisfaction with the handling of Phyna’s prize redemption and calling out BBNaija organizers for their lack of transparency and accountability. The ongoing dispute highlights the challenges faced by reality TV show winners in claiming their rewards and the importance of upholding promises made by sponsors.
