Bandits Ambush and Kill Soldiers in Shiroro: Niger State Attack Update

In a tragic turn of events, suspected bandits have ambushed and killed six soldiers while abducting a captain in the communities of Roro, Karaga, and Rumace in Niger State, Nigeria. The soldiers had responded to a distress call when they were attacked by armed bandits at Roro village, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.

The bandits not only targeted the soldiers but also killed a hunter and two farmers, as well as burning houses, food banks, and motorcycles. The residents of the area were left in shock as the violent incident unfolded late into the night, with one witness recounting the harrowing events that transpired.

Commissioner for Homeland Security, Bello Mohammed, has assured the public that efforts are being made to bring the perpetrators to justice. The government is committed to ending the cycle of insecurity in the region and providing support to the affected families in their time of need.
