PDP Slammed by The Democratic Front for “Ruining” Economy

In a recent statement, The Democratic Front (TDF) has strongly criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for their attempt to advise President Bola Tinubu on matters of governance. The group, represented by its Chairman Danjuma Mohammed and Secretary Wale Adedayo, responded to a communique issued by the PDP at the conclusion of its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

TDF argued that the PDP, having governed the country for 16 years and allegedly leading it into economic disrepair, lacks the moral authority to lecture the current administration on economic recovery. “It is ludicrous that the PDP, after their disastrous governance, now pretends to offer solutions to the very problems they exacerbated,” stated Mohammed.

The group further accused the PDP of ignoring the dire consequences of their long tenure in power, during which, they claim, the party hindered Nigeria’s growth and development. Adedayo added, “The PDP should focus on reconciling their internal divisions rather than criticizing the effective policies implemented by President Tinubu’s team.”

TDF maintains that the PDP should instead show remorse and take responsibility for their past actions rather than challenging the current administration’s successful economic strategies. The group vows to keep the public reminded of what they describe as the PDP’s years of maladministration and misrule.
