Prince Harry and Meghan Mark Royal Visit to Lagos, Nigeria

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, embarked on the next leg of their three-day visit to Nigeria on Sunday, arriving in Lagos from Abuja via an Air Peace flight.

According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the royal couple was warmly welcomed upon their arrival at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal II, Ikeja. They were received by Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace, alongside top-tier military officials and other key government functionaries.

A vibrant cultural display awaited the royal couple, as they were greeted by a dance troupe at the Presidential Wing of the airport. The colorful reception showcased Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and added to the festive atmosphere of the occasion.

During their stay in Lagos, Prince Harry and Meghan are scheduled to meet with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House in Marina. This meeting is expected to focus on various aspects of the royal couple’s visit and their promotion of the Invictus Games, a sporting event founded by Prince Harry for wounded military veterans.
