Governor Fubara Claims Infrastructure Achievements Outpace Wike’s Eight-Year Tenure

In a recent address at the inauguration of the Andoni section of the Ogoni-Andoni-Opobo Unity Road project in Andoni Local Government Area, Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State declared that his administration has made significant strides in infrastructure development within just one year of being in office.

Fubara confidently stated that his administration has already surpassed the infrastructure achievements of his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, who held office for eight years.

“Like I said the other day, we just started. We started about three or four months ago but I am very happy that if we have to assess ourselves within those three months, we have done better than people who stayed for eight years, I stand to be challenged,” Fubara said.

This bold claim comes amidst a backdrop of political tension, as Fubara has been in a public dispute with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory since assuming office. Despite this, Fubara expressed confidence in his administration’s ability to continue delivering on infrastructure projects.

“We will do more, and we will continue to do more,” he promised.
