The community of Amaba Ime in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State has mobilized hunters and local security personnel to aid in the search for three children who were abducted by a motorcyclist last week. The missing children, Gideon Osinachi, Divine Osinachi (6), and Israel Osinachi (4), all siblings, were taken by an unidentified individual, causing widespread concern and distress within the community.

The local security outfits have been tasked by the community leaders to collaborate with the police and other security agencies in the search efforts. King Emmanuel Otuwa, the traditional ruler of Amaba Ime, confirmed the heartbreaking incident, noting that the community has been deeply affected by the abduction.

King Otuwa expressed his shock and sorrow over the incident and urged parents in his community and across Abia State to be cautious about leaving their children in the care of strangers. He also appealed to the Abia State government and security agencies to expedite their efforts in rescuing the abducted children and bringing the perpetrators to justice.

“The community has been thrown into a state of devastation since the abduction of the kids. We are urging the state government and security agencies to act swiftly to rescue the children and apprehend those responsible for this heinous act,” King Otuwa stated.

The monarch also called on the hunters and local security personnel to provide all possible assistance to the police and other agencies involved in the search operation. The proactive involvement of the community is seen as a crucial step in the efforts to locate the children and ensure their safe return.

The abduction has been officially reported to the Abia State Police Command. ASP Maureen Chinaka, the police spokesperson, confirmed the report and stated that the matter is being actively investigated by the police divisional headquarters responsible for the area where the incident occurred.
