The leading family‑entertainment channel Africa Magic will premiere a new Igbo series, *Nwaanyi Ike*, today, targeting fans of local content in the Nigerian movie industry. Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels West Africa at MultiChoice Nigeria, praised the series for its rich portrayal of Nigerian reality. “*Nwaanyi Ike* is a fantastic addition to our existing collection of local content. It is a must‑watch for lovers of Nigerian stories, offering an amazing plot and showcasing great acting talent,” she said. “At MultiChoice Nigeria, we remain committed to supporting local‑content production that showcases our stories and talent to the world.”

The 26‑episode series, directed by Victor Okpala and Richard Nwosu, will premiere exclusively on Africa Magic Igbo and GOtv channel 11. It follows an Igbo family thrown into turmoil after the death of the patriarch, as the surviving heirs battle for his property. Notably, *Nwaanyi Ike* is the first Igbo‑language series originally produced by Africa Magic.
