Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that former Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel, has made the decision not to pursue the coaching position at Manchester United this summer.
Romano clarified that Tuchel’s choice stems from his desire to take a break from coaching during the upcoming off-season.
The news comes amid speculation linking Tuchel with a potential move to Manchester United, with uncertainties surrounding the future of current manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
In a recent tweet, Romano stated, “Thomas Tuchel NOT planning to take Man United job, he wants to take a break not coaching any club this summer.” He further added, “Tuchel currently decided not to continue in talks with United after meeting in the recent weeks.”
This development suggests that Manchester United will need to explore alternative options for their managerial position, as they navigate through the decision-making process regarding Ten Hag’s future at the club.
