Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, celebrated the 13th anniversary of his debut album ‘Superstar’ with a heartfelt message to his fans.
Reflecting on his journey since the album’s release, the ‘Holla At Your Boy’ artist expressed gratitude for his achievements, emphasizing his status as a millionaire “in every currency.”
In a post on his X handle on Wednesday, Wizkid shared, “13 yrs since Superstar! First album! Thankful for all God’s blessings. Healthy family! Blessed life! Love God. Millionaires in every currency! Real life winners! Make sure you win in real life, no deceive yourself! You deserve it.”
Wizkid’s debut album ‘Superstar’, released on June 12, 2011, under Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), features iconic tracks such as ‘Don’t Dull’, ‘Pakuromo’, ‘Tease Me’, ‘Holla At Your Boy’, and ‘I Love My Baby’.
After releasing his sophomore album ‘Ayo’ in 2014, Wizkid left EME to establish his record label, Starboy Entertainment, further solidifying his place in the music industry and continuing his legacy of success.
