Getafe Signs Nigerian Midfielder Chrisantus

LaLiga club Getafe has announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Uche Chrisantus. Chrisantus, 21, joins Getafe from Spanish second-tier club AD Ceuta, penning a four-year contract with the Azulones.

“Getafe CF and AD Ceuta FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Chrisantus Uche. The 21-year-old Nigerian footballer has signed with the club until June 30, 2028, and will spend the next four seasons in the blue and white jersey,” the club announced on their official website.

Chrisantus will join Getafe’s first team for preseason training, where he will compete for a spot in the squad. This signing continues the tradition of Nigerian players at Getafe, following in the footsteps of Ikechukwu Uche and Oghenekaro Etebo.
